Head-to-toe second hand

For once during lockdown, I’m not in leggings. Wondering whether getting dressed ‘properly’ would make me feel less sloth-like and more normal, I put on a skirt and jumper. Both are recent Depop buys. I was attracted the skirt because the detail around the waist-band appealed to my love of detail: an element of my signature style And it’s colourful, which can’t be a bad thing on a November day. The total cost of the outfit is about £30. It did make a difference to how I felt. Choosing clothes that reflect feeling glum reinforce that mood. The opposite is true for me, too.
